About Us

I've always wanted to give something back to society. On a daily basis, in small ways, we try to. In the back of our minds, we keep on saying "Someday, I'd like to do something more." But we get too preoccupied with work, with family, and the rest of our lives.

And then one day, I find out that a friend has breast cancer. So this idea came to mind. Our Own Little Way is what we Filipinos call bayanihan.

Right now, my only goal is to help out Carla. Hopefully someday, we can get to help someone else, too.

This site is owned and operated by HOSTMANILA. It is a non-profit venture and there are no "overhead" expenses that are taken away from donations received. Whatever is raised via this site goes to Carla. We'd like to keep this small and simple. Together with those who are willing to help out, it's just our own little way of giving back.
