How to Help

Cancer is never easy — it can be physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and financially draining. Dayday is a natural fighter, and believes she will go into full and permanent remission. She plans to live a long and happy life with her three boys and claim her wedding blessing — to live to see her children’s children. She wants to become a better person — to be the best wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin, niece, and friend that she can be; to be a productive citizen, a value-adding HR manager/advisor; to be a good witness and servant of the Lord. She knows that she is where she is today for a reason, although not yet clear at this moment, but she looks forward eagerly to where this journey will lead her.

You can help her beat cancer. There are many ways.

Keep her in your daily prayers. Pray with us for her complete and permanent healing. Hope with her and send positive thoughts her way.

Keep in touch with her. Continue to be part of her life, and let her live in yours.

Share information and stories of hope with her. Share any information, research or stories you think might be helpful. Cheer her on.

Contribute to her treatment fund. The Taxol-Avastin regimen is promising. It is new and that’s why the drugs are costly — more than any one underinsured, though earning middlemanager and her family can afford. Total cost of this treatment, for six cycles — excluding weekly blood tests, monitoring CT scans, etc.— is roughly Php 2.44M.

We can facilitate accepting donations via deposits through selected bank accounts or mailed checks. For those of you who are outside the Philippines, you can use the BPI Remittance Center (send me an e-mail and I will send you the BPI account details).
